1. Scope This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows;
1.1 Replacement: This standard applies to electrically operated commercial ki tchen machines not intended for household use. Examples of kitchen machines are: - mixers; - blenders for liquids; - blenders for food; - kneaders; - beaters; - shredders; - graters; - mincers; - slicers; - peelers; - tin openers; - coffee grinders; - machines used for washing food; - portioning machines; - food processors. This standard also applies to appliances which, in order to facilitate transport, are supplied in several parts (sub- assemblies) which, when assembled at the place of installation, form a constructional unit without the use of any additional parts. The electrical part of appliances making use of other forms of energy is also within the scope of this standard. This standard does not apply to: - kitchen machines for industrial purposes; - c
